With the World Cup just around the corner, we decided to have our own little fun with a Karrot World Cup Series! That’s right, we’ve created a series of matches and YOU will all get to compete and support your region by beating the opposing team. Let’s keep it friendly but show some enthusiasm for your team! We expect all of you to get hat tricks 🔥⚽️
THE MATCHES:
1️⃣ Toronto vs. North York
2️⃣ Etobicoke vs. Scarborough
3️⃣ Mississauga vs. Brampton
4️⃣ Richmond Hill vs. Markham
5️⃣ Thornhill vs. Vaughan
THE PRIZE:
Beat the other region by scoring the most goals from Nov 4 - 10!
1 Posting = 1 Goal, 7 Postings = 7 Goals
🏆 The top 10 contributors from each winning region get a $10 Starbucks gift
HOW IT WORKS:
Step 1 - Make postings by putting a “⚽️” emoji in the title of your listings (Postings must be new, boosted postings will not qualify)
Step 2 - Leave a comment below cheering on your team to confirm your entry as a contributor
Step 3 - Check the scoreboard every few days to see who’s currently in the lead!
Results will be announced in app on Nov 11 along with the list of the top 10 contributors from each region! Do you have what it takes to be the MVP for your team? 😉 Then you better start posting because the game….starts…….NOW.
Terms and conditions
- Only items posted between Nov 4 0:00 to Nov 10 23:59 will be counted.
- This promotion is only open to signed up & verified users in the 10 regions listed above.
- Listings must include pictures of actual items and an accurate description.
- Listings must follow Karrot's guidelines and policies. Items listed in Karrot's Prohibited Items will be excluded.
- Engagement may be monitored to verify the validity of the completed transaction. Listings found to be fake or in-genuine will be disqualified.
- Winners will be announced as an in-app post on Nov 11th along with the top 10 contributors
- Karrot reserves the right to modify, cancel and limit any promotion at any time and without prior notice.

You're east of the Humber River so that puts you on the good team! Go North York! 💪

By the way, not sure how Thornhill can compete with Vaughan given that Thornhill is technically within Vaughan so it will always have lower numbers.
Same with Toronto vs North York. North York is still within the Toronto proper so should always have lower numbers than Toronto since it is technically a subset of Toronto region.
