Antique school desk c. 1900

This is an antique oak school desk made by Canadian Office & School Furniture Limited, a company formerly based in Cambridge, Ontario. It has a drawer and a pocket on the side for papers/books etc...Great for a young student, antique decor or for a collector. The maker’s stamp suggests it was made in 1858. I’ve done some research on the company and can only find minimal information-dating back to 1892. I am not sure if it was made in 1858 or if that was when the company was founded. Maybe you can continue tracing it’s history! I’ve had it generally appraised online by two antique experts. One noted that, ‘The style itself is very typical of that turn of the century period, 1900. A fine oak piece’. It’s resale value in an antique store is estimated at $200-$250. Porch pick up Mccowan and kingston road
