Hey Karrot community!
It’s time for everyone’s favourite monthly event…AUGUST FREECYCLE 🏖. With the rising cost of living we could all use some help with groceries, so the Karrot Team has decided to give out $25 President’s Choice (Loblaws) Gift Cards to 16 lucky winners! You can use the gift card at Loblaws or any other participating grocery stores. Join the fun by posting your free items and hopefully you can pick up some special freebies in your neighbourhood for yourself as well 😊
Simply list 3 free items and you’ll be entered into our August Freecycle Draw.

Step 2. Comment on this post about your participation & experience on Karrot!
Step 3. Wait for the winner announcement on August 30

Terms and Conditions
- Users who upload three or more "freecycling listings" between August 20 0:00 - August 29 23:59 will be counted as valid entry.
- Listings with price set at $0 with #freecycle tag in the title will be counted as a valid "freecycling listing".
- Winners will be randomly selected.
- Users can only win one prize.
- This promotion is only open to signed up & verified users in Ontario.
- Listings must include pictures of actual items and an accurate description.
- Listings must follow Karrot's guidelines and policies. Items listed in Karrot's Prohibited Items will be excluded.
- Engagement may be monitored to verify the validity of the completed transaction. Listings found to be fake or ingenuine will be disqualified.
- Winners will be announced as an in-app post on August 30th. Each winner will get a chat message from the Karrot Team on prize redemption. A valid email address will be required to receive the gift.
- Karrot reserves the right to modify, cancel and limit any promotion at any time and without prior notice.

Karrot is an unique platform that not only allows buying and selling but bringing the community together and encouraging sharing, giving and raising environmental consciousness. I’ve been actively posting my office moving items everyday recently, and I found that I sold things faster in karrot than other platforms! Here again I posted 3 #freecycle items, more are coming! 👏 🎉
I'm in for Aug freecycle. I love using karrot, it has better community and user experience than kijiji when it comes to buying AND selling.

I love this community, it’s home to me. I believe that Alone we can do little, but together we can do a lot more. Every time I lend someone a helping hand, I feel a lot better about myself. It feels so rewarding because i know that i have contributed something very important to mankind.
Additionally,🥕 Karrot 🥕community have been giving and helping which allows you to build stronger connections with other people, especially those within your community. It improves relationships, leading everyone to have a better life. Helping others can be just as fulfilling as receiving help from someone else. Ok I just posted three #freecycle items for free on Karrot! I hope it goes to people who need it!!! I enjoy being on Karrot to see the things I don’t need anymore given or sold to those who need it. I enjoy taking part in this community for environmental causes and to meet some of my neighbours.
I have been a member for a while and had great experience with Karrot. Its a wonderful feeling to see that someone is genuinely happy with the item I don't need anymore. Not trying to make a fortune but don't want to throw things in the garbage when they are perfectly useful for other people.

hi, I'll be participating! I love how user friendly Karrot has been. I've found some great items and have sold some as well. I've recommend the app to friends because of how easy it is to use with great finds.
I listed 6 item for August freecycle will post more later. Karrot also remind us to declutter so we can reduce & reuse! I am glad I can participate this event! 🤗

I have met some generous people who gave freebies to help the refugee families. Thanks to those folks and this app, the families are set up with some comforts of home. I am grateful 🙏.

Karrot always puts on great #freecycle Events and this one meets the needs of probably everyone. Meeting the high cost of grocery bills. I love it when I can see the happiness and usefulness someone else has in items I no longer need or want. Generosity is the cornerstone of any great Community and Karrot makes that oh so simple and convenient! Yeah Karrot 🥕🎁

Well I must say “Karrot” is a great app that allows us to post and to make purchases in our local area.
