Dresser/Cedar Chest (combo)

Bell Furniture Company Ltd., Southampton, Ontario. Dates of Creation (between 1907 and 1937). This four drawer Dresser/Cedar Chest was a pleasure to refinish. The top bottom, upper drawers and front legs were sanded down and stained in Ebony to beautifully offset the rest of the dresser which was painted in Behr Marquee Bit of Sugar. The original hardware and casters were cleaned and polished to ensure the originality of the piece. All the drawers are lined and fronts sealed with Satin Polycrylic. The Cedar Chest, was refreshed with Howard's Feed-N-Wax. The rest of the piece was sealed with Hemp Oil. The possibilities for this piece are endless mainly because of the combination Dresser/Cedar Chest. It can be used as a storage for towels, blankets, art supplies, crafts, sewing room, pantry or a nursery. Dimensions H: 46" W: 36" D: 20" My pieces are hand painted, refurbished and selected for their character and may have minor imperfections that tell the story of the piece and add to its character.
