HP Pavilion 6745C (Read Description)

Here’s the deal, as one can clearly see this is an ancient piece of computer technology, however with this being said, my request here is as follows. I will give this computer away for free, monitor, speakers and mouse, and keyboard, I’m sure no one will even want it, but it could just be a novelty item of sorts. The problem I am currently having is that, I power it up, and it turns on, but it doesn’t seem to go any further than that. In the picture with the screwdriver pointing at that little light, it would usually light up in green and flicker when things were loading and make noise also when losing, but now it doesn’t do that anymore, so all I’m trying to do is get it fixed to see what ever I have left on the hard drive, that is of course if it isn’t the hard drive that is the issue. I’ve taken it to a computer shop once or twice before and they told me, they wouldn’t even know where to start to repair it because it’s so old, let alone find parts for it. However I feel they were only saying this to get me to buy one of their used computers in store. It originally came with windows millennium, but at one point in my life I upgraded it to windows xp, along with some ram upgrade as well. I do how ever still have the original reformat discs it came with in the box at the time of purchase. I know this is a far reach, but I guess you don’t know until you try. If anyone can assist me in getting it running again just to get one last look or access to see what I have on it, then it’s all yours, or sooner or later I’ll just get fed up and finally get the courage to dispose of it considering there’s no use for it.
