Got this informally appraised by a local professional, she said it is in fantastic condition, only missing the original tassel that would have been hanging from the bottom loop. Likely from the late 1800s; roughly valued $300. Made from silver. Measures 2.5" wide, 3" tall, with a 6" wrist cord. Originally used to hold face powder, and possibly a lip stain/balm (or anything else fun that could be stored behind the mirror).
