Beware of fake Apple AirPods

I bought Apple AirPod pros from a seller on karrot a couple months ago. They had proof of purchase and the serial number showed with Apple care included on the Apple support app. Fast forward a couple months later they had connection/pairing issues. Took it to the Apple only to be told that they weren’t real and theres absolutely nothing they can do about it. So I’m out $200 with fake AirPods. Be sure to check the inside of the AirPods when purchasing from karrot. The sales rep says you can tell by opening the AirPods and on the inside of the lids the spacing and wording of the serial number on the left side. The font is small and the spacing is close together. That is real. If you have doubts then reject the purchase. It’s always better to be safe than sorry.😞 I would also recommend triple checking all Apple products purchased on karrot. Also best if you meet the sellers at the Apple Store to verify.
