Gibson Limited Edition Flying V 98 w/ OHSC

Selling my Gibson Flying V. It is a limited edition model that was essentially designed as a tribute/reissue to the original first year production Flying V's from 1958. What's more -- it has the nicest finish on these models that I've personally ever seen. The woodgrain really pops nicely through the finish in a very flattering way. It comes in like new condition with the exception of usual bridge tarnish where the palm mutes on the bridge. Only 98 Flying Vs were produced in 1958 - 59, before the model came off the production line, which I assume is why they called this the 98 Flying V. Plays like a dream, with all the warmth and cut that a pair of genuine Gibson humbuckers are going to give you. These are regarded as one of the closest plays you'll get to one of those 50s Vs without taking out a second mortgage. Those axes are unreasonably expensive nowadays, but for good reason. Everything is original to the guitar with the exception of the gold knobs shown, which compliment the look of the guitar much better in my honest opinion. As mentioned, the guitar is in pretty much like new condition and comes included with its original Gibson form-fit case with black shroud covering.
