press image to enlarge. pick up only. still strong as ever. However, the metal slates are 6 x 4.5 long. it will not fit in all types of cars. So, do measure before coming. :) description: This is a very strong wooden yet vintage bed frame. the slats are metal where the mattress is supposed to be laid on (see last pic), and every other part is as well (except for the head and foot board which are wood), so there is no way of it to break down. As shown in the picture, it has small cupboards on the headboard, and you can keep things in there and also more space in the middle for your show pieces. Although there might be a small issue, the wood is a bit scraped in the middle. I circled it above in the 3rd picture. the metal slates can not be disassembled, it's flat and 4.5×6 foot long.
