Bickel produced fashionable posters for all the leading Swiss merchants, notably Seiden Grieder of Zurich and Chaussures Scheuer of Geneva. And this poster for the men’s clothier PKZ helps explain his popularity: he had a flair for classy images which complemented the fashions they promoted. And who wouldn’t be convinced to become a PKZ customer after seeing this dapper gentleman? Rare!
