nhl 1979-1980 rare collection of 22 pucks from the nhl.

Up for sale, is a nice and rare collectible, NHL piece of history. This is a complete set of hockey team pucks, from 1979-1980 series. It contains the 21 teams, at the time and includes an official released NHL logo puck, 22 pucks in total, including a very nice hardwood plaque. These pucks were offered by Texaco service centers, with a gas fill up. When you had collected the complete set, the hardwood plaque was offered for a nice mounting to display the pucks. The Texaco logo, is engraved at the bottom center of the plaque. The plaque is about 18" x 21", with official size pucks. This item is in very good condition, and would look great in any sports room, bar or garage, to impress your friends. This is a very rare item, and was issued the same year of Gretzky's rookie year.
